In a Wheatstone bridge circuit, which is detuned by time division and which has approximately equally large resistors in the four bridge branches, a switch-over cycle exchanging the balance arms is used for compensating for a calibration error, which switch-over cycle is synchronised with the time divider cycle detuning the bridge circuit, in such a manner that one half period of the switch-over cycle includes at least one whole period of the time divider cycle.
