PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency by providing a switchboard to be connected to an optical cable enclosed in a box body and connecting members for connecting a part of coated optical fibers exposed within the switchboard freely attachably and detachably to an optical outdoor line. CONSTITUTION:The optical pull-down connecting box is constituted by including the switchboard 9 housed in a freely attachable and detachable state into a box body 8. The switchboard 9 is connected by connector coupling to the optical cable 2a and the optical outdoor line 10. Connector fixing jigs 14 are fixed to the base and a connector plate 15 is connected to the flank in the switchboard 9. The plural coated optical fibers 7 connected with the optical connectors 16 at the ends are supplied in a separated state from the optical cable 2a into the switchboard 9. The optical connectors 16 fixed at the ends of the coated optical fibers 7 connected to the optical outdoor line 10 are fixed to the connector fixing jigs 14 and the optical connectors 16 fixed at the ends of the remaining coated optical fibers 7 not connected to the optical outdoor line 10 are fixed to the connector fixing plate 15.
