PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a truck runaway prevention device capable of safely and certainly stopping a truck having large inertia force to prevent a runaway of the truck, and to provide a runaway prevention truck using it. ;SOLUTION: This truck runaway prevention device comprises an anchor hook 1 moved down from the side of the truck D to catch a railroad tie L, a buffer member 2 supporting and connecting the anchor hook 1 to the truck D side with buffering the anchor hook 1, and a lifting mechanism 3 vertically moving the anchor hook 1 from the truck D side. Thereby, when the truck D runs away, the anchor hook 1 is moved down from the truck D side to catch the railroad tie L while the buffer member 2 absorbs the shock, so that even the truck D having the large inertia force can be safely and certainly stopped.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
