PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of designing an image pickup system at every device since structure for moving a whole camera for changing image pickup view is largely affected by the form of the device loading structure in a conventional case. SOLUTION: An image pickup medium 2, an optical system L where an object image is image-formed in the image pickup medium and a reflection member 3 which is arranged nearer an object-side compared to the optical system and which reflects light from an object so that it is made incident on the optical system are installed. An image pickup unit driving (rotationally driving, for example) the reflection member and changing an image pickup range by the image pickup medium has reflection member driving means 4 and 5 driving the reflection member, an interface 14 realizing communication with a device main body on which the image pickup unit is loaded and which generates a signal for controlling the operation of the image pickup unit and a microcomputer 13 transmitting information on an image pickup unit-side to the device main body and controlling the reflection member driving means based on the signal received from the device main body.
