PROGRESSING DIRECTION DISPLAY DEVICE FOR FULL TURNING TYPE CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the incorrect operation of traveling by an operator by displaying direction of a traveling body in relation to an upper turning body of construction machinery such as a hydraulic shovel formed of an upper turning body and a lower traveling body. ;SOLUTION: Turning movement of an upper turning body means turning movement of a lower traveling body in the opposite direction at the same angle. Considering this point, one end of a flexible shaft passed through inside of a tube 14 is fixed to a tip of a spindle (inner shaft) 8 of a center joint fixed to the lower traveling body, and an arrow 18 is fitted to the other end of the flexible shaft on a board of a direction display 17 fitted to a driver's seat. One end of the tube 14 is fixed to a tip of a center joint body (outer cylinder) cover 12 connected to the upper turning body through a clevis 11 by a link, which is not expressed in a figure, and the other end thereof is fixed to a display main body 17 of the driver's seat. When the upper turning body is turned, the tube 14 is integrally turned with the upper turning body around the flexible shaft. The arrow 18 on the direction display board displays direction of the traveling body to be changed with time as if it is rotated in the opposite direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
