PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propellant leak sensing device having a high reliability even in space capable of sensing a propellant leak at a spacecraft such as artificial satellite with a good sensitivity. SOLUTION: A propulsive powder leak sensing device for a spacecraft is installed on a thruster equipped with powder supplying pipelines 6 and 7 to supply a propellant from a propellant tank, propellant valves 4 and 5 to control the supply of the propellant from the pipes in accordance with existence or non-existence of combustion, and a combustion chamber 1 to generate a high pressure gas by combusting the propellant fed from opened valve(s). The leak sensing device is installed on the way of pipelines, equipped with heaters 20 and 30 to generate heat inside the pipelines and a pair of temperature sensors 21 and 31 installed upstream and downstream of the heaters, and existence or non-existence of any propellant leak is sensed from the temperatures sensed by the two temperature sensors.
