PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a problem of reducing strength of a groove lid since a drain hole leading to a groove is arranged in a required place in a conventional groove lid used for a side ditch of a road as well as to sufficiently drain water by arranging the drain hole without reducing strength of the groove lid.;SOLUTION: In this groove lid, a copper plate draining metal fitting G1 by bending a recess-projection is embedded in a central part in the right-angled direction to the groove direction of a groove lid a1, an opening 3 is bored, a drain hole G13 is bored in a recessed surface of the draining metal fitting G1 according to a position of the opening 13, and the opening 13 is bored by avoiding a reinforcement of the groove lid a1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
