PURPOSE:To provide the heartbeat meter for horse which can mount electrodes or the like for detecting electrocardiographic signals to the body of a horse without giving the feeling of a foreign substance. CONSTITUTION:An electrode holding part 4 for adhesively mounting a pair of electrodes for detecting electrocardiographic signals to the body of the horse is provided with a pair of electrode fitting parts 23a and 23b in the shape of thin plates along the inside of a body band for fixing a saddle and a transmitter fitting part 24 along the outside of the body band, and since the body band is mounted to the body of the horse by forming electrodes 1 and 2 attached to the respective electrode fitting parts 23a and 23b in the shape of thin plates, the electrodes 1 and 2 are adhered to the body of the horse.
