PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cermet provided with the permeability of gas and liq.;SOLUTION: This cermet is the one in which hard phase constituting particles composed of a compd. of one or more kinds among the carbides, nitrides, carbonitrides, carbo-nitrooxides, borides of the group 4A, 5A and 6A metals in the Periodic Table and C, N, O, B and Si and bonding phase constituting particles composed of one or more kinds among Ni, Co and Fe are produced by a powder metallurgical method, and in the alloy structure, a coarse-grained hard phase of 20 to 300 μm particle size is contained, and through pores of 0.1 to 200 μm average size are provided by 5 to 50%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
