PURPOSE: To provide a thermal transfer technique by which same degree of light fastness and anti-darkening/color fading properties same as a silver salt photograph can be achieved. ;CONSTITUTION: A thermal transfer technique is to form an image by heating an ink ribbon having an ink layer and migrate the molten or sublimated dye of the ink layer to the image receiving layer of a print paper. This ink ribbon is for thermal transfer, containing an ink layer which contains either one of disazo dye and isothiazoleazo dye or both.
