PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly search required information from the parts constitution information of an electronic circuit board designed in the past on the basis of functions and main parts and to accurately, quickly and easily prepare the parts constitution information of the electronic circuit board on the basis of the newest parts information. ;SOLUTION: The parts constitution information of the electronic circuit board is sorted and stored in a resource DB 1 on the basis of the functions carried out by the circuit board and main parts for realizing the functions and the parts information is stored in an acknowledged parts DB 2. A resource parts table preparation/edition part 3 retrieves the parts constitution information based on the function or the main parts from the DB 1, retrieves parts information corresponding to respective parts of the retrieved parts constitution information from the DB 2, prepares the parts information list of the parts constitution information, prepares new parts constitution information from the prepared list, investigates a prescribed examination item on the basis of the data of the information, and displays suitability judgment information on a display part 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
