FLOAT TYPE CHANGE-OVER VALVE AND RAINWATER STORAGE TANK WITH CHANGE-OVER VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a change-over valve which makes possible a automatic change-over of flow depending on a water level by valve alone without requiring any power supply and a rainwater storage tank provided with the change-over valve. SOLUTION: In the float type change-over valve which comprises a valve main body 2 provided with three ports A, B, and C, a valve element 10 which is accommodated movably back and forth in the valve main body 2 wherein at an extreme end of displacement first interconnecting path 5 between ports A and C is opened while second interconnecting path 6 between ports B and C is closed and at an opposite extreme end of displacement the first interconnecting path 5 is closed while the second interconnecting path 6 is opened, a lever 15 which is rockably supported on the valve main body 2 and engaged with the valve element 10 to allow said valve element to be driven back and forth, and a float 17 connected to a tip of the lever 15, the valve element 10 is shifted toward said one end of displacement while the float 17 is moving upward, and the valve element 10 is shifted toward said opposite end of displacement while the float 17 is moving downward.
