PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the heat radiation from a radiation structure.;SOLUTION: This heat shielding method comprises wrapping the circumference of a radiation structure 7 in a heat shielding device 1 so as to enclose the radiation structure 1, and fixing the edge parts by hook-and-loop fasteners 3 and 5. In this heat shielding device, a material having a large heat capacity is used. Further, all of the hook-and-loop fastener and the heat shielding device are formed of a heat resisting material. The circumference of the part having the highest heat of the part forming the radiation structure is enclosed by a heat shielding body to minimize the heat radiation from the heating part of the radiation structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
