PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system by which a parametric model of a processing operation of a color marking device can quickly be generated. SOLUTION: A PH(piecewise homeomorphism) recalculation step 108 adjusts an apex set with respect to a tetrahedron used altogether by a least square calculation with respect to surrounded data points to generate a consecutive expression of a true transfer function (f), a new apex is calculated to reconfigure the tetrahedron to surround a different set of actual data, a sampling data ground at the apex positions of the tetrahedron newly configured in used to calculate a new f' hat function. Having only to use the apexes of the tetrahedron as sampling data can calculate the new function f' hat with minimum data thereby quickly generating a parametric model.
