PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of an elastic body that is used for an oscillatory wave-driving device for forming the elastic body in structure for preventing squealing by using a sintered alloy. ;SOLUTION: When deformation by residual thermal stress is to be removed by performing sizing treatment after performing the sintering forming of the elastic body for generating drive vibration with a specific wavelength being used for the oscillator of the oscillatory wave-driving device, the bottom surface of a plurality of slits being formed on one surface of an elastic body 1 is pressurized, and at the same time a slit nearly corresponding to the specific wavelength out of the plurality of slits is formed to be deeper or shallower by a specific amount.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
