PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improvement type diaphragm/outside piston structure to be durable to wear of a diaphragm, in an outside piston region which is a place to fix a diaphragm to a pump and where the diaphragm is apt to be extremely worn. ;SOLUTION: A structure 10 contains a flat part 12, an annular bending part 14, and a diaphragm 20 containing an enlarging bead-form wearing part 2 and formed of a flexible material. Further, a means 4 to fix the outer periphery of the diaphragm 20 to a pump housing is contained therein. An outside piston member 8 is arranged to fix the diaphragm 20 at the piston rod of a pump. The outside piston member 8 contains a flat part 18 and an arcuate part 22, making contact with the flat part and the enlarging wearing part of the diaphragm 20. Further, to mount a structure on the piston rod of the pump, central openings 6 and 7 are formed in the diaphragm 20 and the outside piston member 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
