PURPOSE: To obtain a transplanter capable of continuously nipping both the sides of each cylindrical pot having S-shaped cut parts used for the elongation of the roots of a seedling on the side surfaces of the pot and subsequently planting the nipped pot without damaging the pot due to the engagement of a planting holder with the S-shaped cut parts. ;CONSTITUTION: A planting holder 7 is disposed in the transplanter. The base part of the planting holder 7 is fixed to a rotary disk 8. The planting holder 7 is used for nipping, pulling out and planting the head pot seedling of a cylindrical pot seedling row connected with connecting pieces, each of the cylindrical pots having S-shaped cut parts. The tip nipping plates of a pair of the bars of the planting holder 7 are formed into ≥1.5R round parts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
