PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake resistant placing method for raising of a building and settlement correction work, capable of protecting the life of a resident or a worker and the security of a building, even if a sizable earthquake occurs by placing the required number of earthquake-resistant placing devices to important positions of a building footing from preparation work of the raising having a large quantity of raising and settlement correction work, and at the same time, being executed within a range of the same extent of the cost as that of the conventional method. ;SOLUTION: The lower part of a building footing 1 is excavated down to a prescribed depth to construct a base mat 2 on the excavated bottom, an outer pipe 7 fixed to the base mat 2 is fitted to an inner pipe 6 fixed to the lower surface of the building footing 1, a placing main jack 14 is incorporated inside thereof, and at the same time, a placing support jack 15 is placed to the outside of the outer pipe 7, and when both jacks 14 and 15 are alternately operated to jack up the buildling footing 1, a fitting state of the outer pipe 7 with the inner pipe 6 is maintained by successively adding the outer pipe 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
