PURPOSE: To provide a container jump-up preventing device of low cost and simple constitution in which need of a hydraulic cylinder and a control means is eliminated while looseness between an engagement member and an engaged member, and breakage of both members are prevented securely by energizing the engagement member in a direction to fix its engagement with the engaged member. ;CONSTITUTION: A device is provided with a damp frame 12 capable of inclining on a sub-chassis 4, and a loading arm pivotaly supported by a rear end of the damp frame 12 to prohibit rotation to the damp frame 12 only when the damp frame 12 is inclined. An engagement member 23 is rotatably pivoted on the damp frame 12, a counter member 24 which is to be engaged with an engagement part 25 of the engagement member 23 at completion of motion of a container 5 in a loading direction while to be disengaged from the engagement part at the time when starting to move in a unloading direction is provided on a main beam 8 of the container 5, and the engagement member 23 is energized by an energizing spring 26 in such a direction as to fix engagement with the engaged member 24. A guide roller 29 to guide the counter member 24 to an engagement fixing position is provided at a rear end of the engagement member 23.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
