PURPOSE:To obtain a recorded matter which is clear and highly glossy and weather-proof by employing a recording system using a dye ink as an ink jet system. CONSTITUTION:A recording film consists of an alumina hydrate layer formed on a transparent base and an opaque porous layer composed of titanium oxide or zinc oxide or a blend of titanium oxide and silica formed on the alumina hydrate layer. In addition, the film has an opacity of 70% or higher. An image is printed on the opaque porous layer side and the printed image is visible through he transparent base.
