PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert a news text read by a to a subtitle, in real time with respect to a live broadcasting program of news.;SOLUTION: An operator B, other than a correspondent A monitors a picked-up image by a camera 16 by using a monitor 20, to correct the parts which the correspondent A corrects on the basis of a manuscript prepared in advance immediately before the start of a news program in real time by a means 6, and the same operator or another operator preliminarily divides the correction result into sentences which are easy to see as subtitles, and the voice of the announcer is monitored to timely send out generated sentences simultaneously with the start of the news program.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
