PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the adequate assisting operation corresponding to the degree of skill of sutra chanting and evolving of the holy name, to prevent the erroneous reading of a sutra and to correct the points of indistinct pronunciation.;SOLUTION: The assistance display mainly composed of voices and subordinated by character display is made for a beginner. The changing of the display to the assistance display by the characters alone is made possible as the degree of skill increases. The voice display is made arbitrarily settable by making the display parameters, such as the speeds or intervals of the assistance voices of the contents reading down the words of the sutra corespondent to a pronouncing person. The character display indicates the words of the sutra as character data on a display screen 18, decides the recitation contents of the pronouncing person and makes the display corresponding to the contents of the decision possible.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
