PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive corrector utilizing the output of a random noise generator as a signal source for correction by noticing that the waveform of an OFDM wave on a time base approximates the waveform of a random noise, and to provide a ground digital broadcasting electric field strength measuring instrument effectively utilizing the corrector. SOLUTION: While utilizing the waveform of the OFDM wave as the signal source for correction almost equivalent with the random noise on the time base, the measurement is performed while using a random noise generator 1, a filter 3 having the same band width as the occupancy band width of the OFDM wave and a corrected power gauge 6. When using the corrector as a corrector for electric measuring instrument, there are a built-in type and an external type having a terminal capable of inputting the signal of the corrector. Besides, while considering the co-existence of the OFDM wave and a current ground wave, the band width of the reception part of the electric measuring instrument can be varied (switched or continued) and both the waves can be measured.
