PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject method or tool intended to safely and easily pull a fishhook out of any skin of a fish irrespective of the stuck orientation thereof without injuring or damaging the fish and the fishhook.;SOLUTION: This fishhook-detaching tool has such a scheme or mechanism that the slant pipe 4 of a pipe-like basal body 1 is rotatably mounted with an actuating pulley 10, which, in turn, is mounted with a holding pipe 12 provided with a slit 15 and a trumpet-shaped part 14, the grip of the basal body 1 is turnably mounted with an operative pulley 17, and transmission yarn 20 threaded through the hollow of the basal body 1 is set up between the operative pulley 17 and the actuating pulley 10, thus affording the objective fishhook-detaching tool 26 (a), (b); the axial part 29 of a stuck fishhook 28 is situated inside the holding pipe 12 and the operative pulley 17 is turned in any direction irrespectively of the position of the tip of the fishhook 28; in concomitant therewith, the actuating pulley 10 and the holding pipe 12 are also turned, a flex part 30 (d) is turned about the axial part 29, resulting in changing the angle of inclination of the flex pat 30 (d) and conforming the direction of pulling off the fishhook 28 by the turning direction of the holding pipe 12, thus pulling the fishhook 28 out of the fish.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
