TREATING AGENT AND TREATMENT OF FLOWABLE HIGHLY HYDROUS SURPLUS SOIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating agent for facilitate the handling including the transportation by lowering the flowability of flowable highly hydrous surplus soil such as dredging sludge, sewage sludge, concrete sludge and the treating method. SOLUTION: As the treating agent, a ternary copolymer of (a) a cation monomer selected from a quaternary ammonium salt of dimethyl-amino-alkyl-(metha) acrylate or dialkyl-diallyl ammonium salt, (b) an anion monomer selected from acrylic acid or the water soluble salt and (c) a neutral monomer selected from acryl amide or the N-substituted body is used and the treating agent is added and mixed with the highly hydrous surplus soil to make semi-solidified and low flowable.
