PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new cell culture system mainly comprising a eucaryotic cell such as a human hepatic cancerous cell containing a genetic material comprising a specified hepatitis C virus(HCV)-specific gene and a marker gene transduced thereinto and capable of detecting an HCV-RNA and an HCV-antigen according to a simple method. SOLUTION: This new HCV cell culture system comprises a eucaryotic cell which is a human hepatic cancerous cell and is an HCV-RNA construct comprising transduced HCV- specific RNA-fragments 5'NTR, NS3, NS4A, NS4B, NS5A, NS5B and 3'NTR having a nucleotide sequence described in the formula or the like and an additionally selective marker gene (selective gene) in the HCV cell culture system mainly comprising the eucaryotic cell containing a genetic material comprising a transduced HCV-specific genetic material. The cell culture system is capable of detecting an HCV-RNA or an HCV-antigen according to a simple method and is useful for the production and/or evaluations and/or tests, etc., of a therapeutic agent and/or a diagnostic agent for treating the HCV-infection.
