PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject combined filament yarn capable of giving woven/knitted fabrics with excellent bulkiness, resilience and color developability and improved soft touch. ;SOLUTION: This polyester-based combined filament yarn with different shrinkage comprises at least two kinds of filament groups differing in shrinkage from each other; wherein the filament group (A) with the highest shrinkage is composed of sheath/core-type conjugate fiber with the sheath component consisting of polybutylene terephthalate or polypropylene terephthalate, while the core component consists of polyethylene terephthalate, and this blended filament yarn is characterized by satisfying the characteristics described below: (1) 12≤SWA≤25(%), (2) 10≤SHA-SHB≤30(%), and (3) 30≤CA≤60(%); wherein, SWA is the boiling water shrinkage of the filament group (A); SHA is the dry heat shrinkage of the filament group (A); SHB is the dry heat shrinkage of the filament group (B) with the lowest shrinkage; and CA is the blend proportion of the filament group (A).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
