PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure protection for fruits and to prevent certainly deformation or separation of stems in the fruits having stems such as apples or pears when the fruits are housed in a package container for transportation or storage. SOLUTION: A cushioning sheet 10 for fruits is such that is in a flat plate shape and placed on a group of fruits A which are to be packaged, being neatly arranged on a tray 50, and dents 11A-11F, 11a-11b for accepting stems a of the fruits A are formed so as to protrude toward the outside at the reverse side of the cushioning sheet 10. The cushioning sheet 10 for fruits is desirably molded by means of pulp molding in an integral form out of materials such as pulp or waste papers.
