JACK DEVICE DEDICATED FOR REPLACEMENT OF STEEL BRIDGE SUPPORT AND METHOD FOR REPLACEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jack device dedicated for replacement of steel bridge support not involving any problem about shearing stresses nor using a conventional provisionally installed bracket which is difficult to be used to another application and offer a support replacing method using the jack device. ;SOLUTION: The jack device 9 dedicated for replacement of steel bridge support is composed of a plurality of cylinder type hydraulic jacks 10, a first bracket 12 whereto the hydraulic jacks 10 are fixed, and a second bracket 14 coupled with the first bracket 12 and the web plate 1a of a main girder 1 using high tension bolts 13. This jack device 9 is installed in the play 15 at the end of main girder, and the second bracket 14 is coupled with the first bracket 12 and the web plate 1a of main girder 1 using high tension bolts 13, and the main girder 1 is lifted by the jacks 10, followed by replacement of the support 4, and then the main girder 1 is lowered by the jacks 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
