PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily execute the operation at a low cost while corrosion resistance over a superlong time is maintained by providing the space between the surface of steel and a corrosion resistant metallic thin sheet with a waterproof sheet. ;SOLUTION: For providing the space between the surface of steel and a corrosion resistant metallic thin sheet with a waterproof sheet, e.g. the method of adhering the waterproof sheet with adhesives, adhesive tape or the like and moreover adhering the metallic thin sheet to the surface of the waterproof sheet with adhesives or the like is used. The metallic thin sheet is subjected to joint treatment and edge part treatment to prevent the intrusion of water and corrosive substance arriving at the surface of the steel as possible. Then, by the waterproof sheet at the lower layer of the metallic thin sheet, even in the case water and corrosive substance infiltrate from the joints and edge parts of the metallic thin sheet, their arrival at the surface of the steel is prevented. Moreover, ultraviolet rays are also cut off by the metallic thin sheet, so that secular deterioration in the waterproof sheet, adhesives or the like can be suppressed as well. Furthermore, the waterproof sheet relaxes stress caused by the difference in the thermal expansion coefficients between the steel and the metallic thin sheet to prevent peeling or the like of the metallic thin sheet.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
