PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize and lighten a machine, to improve the certainty in movement and to provide the untoppling characteristics by using a sprawling sleigh-shaped body, throwing an anchor, and moving the body by pulling an anchor cable hand over hand.;SOLUTION: A body 1 of an automated guided probing machine is provided with the sprawlable shape having a sleigh-shaped bottom. An anchor throwing device 2 is mounted on the main body slightly obliquely upward from the inside of the body 1 to the outside of the same. In the movement, a throwing claw 9 mounted on an output shaft of a servo motor mounted in the body 1 is engaged with a flange, a cable is rewound by a necessary amount in a state that a cartridge 4 is drawn and held, and an anchor 6 is thrown. When the thrown anchor bites the ground, a winch 8 is operated to wind the cable 7, and the body 1 is moved toward the anchor 6 while crawling on the ground. By applying this constitution, the untoppling characteristic can be improved, the machine can be lightened, and the certainty in movement can be assured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
