Crystallized glass goods and its production method

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the crystallized glass article showing a new appearance and suitable as a decorative material, and to provide a method for producing the crystallized glass article, capable of producing the crystallized glass article without requiring a cutting process after sintered. ;SOLUTION: The many particles of crystallized glass containing deposited crystals in an amount of 5-50wt.% or the many particles of crystallizable glass having a property giving the crystallized glass containing the deposited crystals in an amount of 5-50wt.%, when sintered, are mixed and kneaded with 20-40wt.% of a clay mineral. The kneaded product is molded and subsequently sintered in a temperature region exhibiting a glass viscosity of 10⁴ to 10⁵ poises. Thus, the crystallized glass article comprising the substrate consisting of the crystallized glass containing the deposited crystals in an amount of 5-50wt.% and the clay mineral dispersed in the substrate in an amount of 20-40wt.% is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
