HOPPER FOR POWDER MATERIAL STORAGE, QUANTITATIVE FEEDER FOR POWDER MATERIAL, AND POWDER-MATERIAL-JETTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always discharge a stable quantity of powder material into a target position by providing a gas-jetting means near the material discharging opening of a hopper main body and substantially in the direction of the tangent of the internal annular face thereof.;SOLUTION: A hopper 1 for powder material storage comprises a hopper main body 2 and a gas-jetting means 3 provided above and near a material discharging opening 2a, and the means 3 is formed substantially in the direction of the tangent of the internal annular face of the hopper main body 2. In the material discharging opening 2a of the hopper main body 2, a material cut-and- let-out valve 4 is provided so that it can be opened/closed. Before discharge of the powder material, air is supplied to the powder material in an upper area of the material discharging opening 2a by the gas-jetting means 3 and also, by using a swirling current caused thereby, stir is caused in a corn portion 2d near the discharging opening. Thus, a funnel flow is prevented and a specified quantity of the powder material can be surely discharged steadily by opening the material cut-and let-out valve for a specific length of time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
