PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment-friendly aqueous coating which shows an excellent coated surface property and a coating process using this.;SOLUTION: The aqueous coating showing an excellent coated surface property comprises from 15 to 40 wt.% solid components and from 10 to 30 wt.% organic solvents with the balance being an aqueous medium, and has a surface tension of ≤28 mN/m. In the coating process, this aqueous coating is applied onto a metal surface, on which ≤1 g/m2 water is present, in a coating atmosphere wherein the temperature is from 15 to 35°C and the relative humidity is from 60 to 90%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
