PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate for a steel shell joint for use in an outer shell antecedently constructed tunneling method which dispenses with loosening of the plate after fastening of the same. ;SOLUTION: There is provided a plate for a steel shell joint for use in an outer shell antecedently constructed tunneling method, which is connected to a coupling portion of a steel shell adjacent to the steel shell concerned, in order to couple the adjacent steel shells each forming a unit tunnel, via a hemispherical washers, joint bolts, and nuts, to each other. To this end, the plate has a plurality of concave hemispherical washer bearers and a plurality of frusto- conical bolt holes each having a small diameter on the washer bearer side and opens on the bottom of the washer bearer.
