PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low water revetment which has a stable construction and becomes familiar to natural scenery, offers habitats for small fishes and small animals and also has a function of reducing river current speeds.;SOLUTION: A low water revetment 1 comprises a wave-shaped low water revetment wall 3 where wave-shaped porous concrete low water revetment blocks 2 are laid continuously, piles 5 for supporting a low water revetment wall 3 driven into the river bed surface of a recessed portion 7 at the river course side of the low water revetment wall 3, and a filling material filled at the bank side of the low water revetment wall 3. Because of the above, plants densely grow on the porous concrete surfaces thereby creating a natural scenery and a stable structure by piles 5, the wave-shaped surface decreases the current speed hereby creating habitats for small fishes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
