PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle, as a nuclear reactor coolant, a lead-bismuth eutectic alloy exposed to radiations by being once used as a nuclear reactor coolant. SOLUTION: According to this method of purifying the lead-bismuth eutectic alloy exposed to radiations, the eutectic alloy exposed to radiations is heated until solid contents included in the eutectic alloy are all melted into a molten body. The molten body is cooled to a near-melting point of the eutectic alloy thereby precipitating, at least. polonium 210 produced by exposing bismuth to radiations and lead surplus to the amount of bismuth forming the eutectic alloy. The precipitated polonium 210 and the lead are removed from the molten body.
