PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet fixing tool which a faucet can be attached to and detached from, by operating the tool from above a fixing portion. ;SOLUTION: A faucet fixing tool 2 is made up of a base portion 4 and a retaining portion 5 which are arranged on an upper surface and a lower surface of a fixing portion 1, respectively, a retaining piece moving mechanism 8 which can individually insert a first retaining piece 6 and a second retaining piece 7 of the retaining portion 5 into a fixing hole 1a, and a retaining portion moving mechanism 9 which can move the retaining pieces 6, 7 in a direction toward the base portion 4 and a direction away from the base portion 4. A moving member 12 of the retaining piece moving mechanism 8 is operated to shift the height of the first retaining piece 6 so as to be arranged to a position above the second retaining piece 1, and the retaining pieces 6, 7 are individually inserted into the fixing hole 1a. A male screw member 14 of the retaining portion moving mechanism 9 is rotated so that the retaining pieces 6, 7 are a moved to abut on the lower surface of the fixing portion 1, whereby the fixing portion 1 around the fixing hole 1a is pinched by the base portion 4 and the retaining portion 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
