PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a public lottery selling system through a network.;SOLUTION: A selling managing server 30 discloses the selling information of public lotteries. A purchaser terminal 10 is connected to the selling managing server and transmits information showing a public lottery to be purchased and a purchaser to the selling managing server 30. The selling managing server registers the received information, demands a selling price to a settlement institution terminal 40 and collects the price. Besides, the number of the public lottery sold to each of purchasers is recorded and registered. When the public lottery wins a prize, the payment of prize money is demanded to the settlement institution terminal and that payment is performed. The settlement institution terminal is connected to a financial institution terminal 50 for managing the deposit account of the purchaser and performs required settlement between the deposit account of the purchaser and the account of the sponsor of a public lottery selling system 100.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
