PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus having resolved such problems that conventionally, a relevant apparatus has such a scheme that roll brushes are arranged transversely on the upper part of a water tank so as to soak about half the diameter thereof in water and pressed with a plate brush from above, and thereby raw materials such as elongated root vegetables are washed with water wound up from the water tank and brushing action, however the above scheme is not adaptable to a series of automatic and continuous plant operations such as elongated root vegetables' washing, sorting and encasing ones. ;SOLUTION: This automated washing apparatus has such a scheme that a frame 2 is longitudinally mounted with a ring brush-bearing washing brush 4, above which an anti-scattering brush 5 for elongated root vegetables is arranged so as to revolve in the same direction as the ring brush-bearing washing brush 4, and a feed belt conveyor group 3 disposed rectangularly to the brush 4 or a feed small brush group 8 disposed in parallel rectangularly to the brush 4 is turned toward the raw material exit situated ahead.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
