PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprit level in which the use of an auxiliary plate is dispensed with by strengthening the liquid housing part of the spirit level and lengthening it and a spirit level body to be used for the same. ;SOLUTION: A reinforcing body is provided with a liquid chamber to house air bubbles and a liquid inside, along the axial direction of a rod body made of a metal, and a cover for covering the liquid chamber is mounted on the reinforcing body. The cover is provided with a sealing means to prevent liquid leakage from the reinforcing body to form the spirit level body. Both end parts of the sprit level body are each provided with pedestals with mounting means for other spirit levels form the spirit level.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
