PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system, capable of appropriately announcing a guidance route almost without having to prevent image appreciation of passengers. ;SOLUTION: A processing control part 15 creates data for display, including an arrow icon, etc., for guiding a route and supplies it for a display control part 17 in the case of the need for issuing an instruction for guiding a route according to the relationship between locational information acquired from a GPS module 12 and guidance route information stored in a storage part 13. The display control part 17 creates an image signal (RGB signal, etc.), for an arrow icon, etc., according to the acquired data for display and supplies it for a display device 19 together with a switch signal to instruct the switching on-screen display.
