PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system that enables an execution of route retrieval capable of dealing with control by means of an advanced drive support system.SOLUTION: A navigation system according to the present invention comprises: a storage unit that stores map information including information on an advanced drive support control permit segment to be subjected to drives by vehicles due to advanced drive support control; an acquisition unit that acquires current location information on the vehicles; a retrieval unit that retrieves routes from locations indicated by the current location information to destinations; a guide unit that notifies at least a part of route information indicative of the routes retrieved by the retrieval unit to thereby conduct guidance; and a first reception unit that receives a prohibition input of the guidance by the guide unit from users of the vehicle. Even when the first reception unit receives the prohibition input of the guidance while the vehicle drives down the advanced drive support permit segment by means of the advanced drive support control, the guide unit is configured not to prohibit the route from being guided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
