PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the accuracy of the data of an item checked result in the case of checking the product of the same slip in plural item checking terminals by providing a controller for controlling the relation of the item checking data of the respective item checking terminals and the slip or the like and executing the item checking work of the slip in the plural item checking terminals. ;SOLUTION: The controller 10 is constituted of an item checking condition confirmation part l-11, an item checking data management part 1-12, an item checking management file 1-13, an item checking data loading part 1-14, the item checking data 1-15 and a recording medium 1-16 recording an item checking management program. Then, the item checking management program is read from the recording medium 1-16 to the controller 10 and the relation that the data of which slip are loaded to which item checking terminal and how is the result of checking the item is controlled in the item checking data management file 1-13. Thus, even when the item checking work of the same slip is performed in the plural item checking terminals 1-21-1-23, the item checked result for each slip is recognized in the item checking data management file 1-13 and the accuracy of the data is guaranteed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
