PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a device without causing substantial decrease in the display area. ;SOLUTION: Positioning marks are formed in two or more positions on the face where the terminal part of a liquid crystal panel 10 assembled in a panel frame 20 is arranged. A CCD camera or the like to photograph the area near the positioning marks is used and the liquid crystal panel 10 is moved in such a manner that the positioning marks are disposed in the specified positions while referring to the images photographed by the camera.
