PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and simply detect a toxoprotein with high degree of reliability by using an antibody having the ability to specifically bind to a toxoprotein produced by a methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA). ;SOLUTION: An antibody having the ability to specifically bind to a toxoprotein produced by MRSA such as a monoclonal antibody is used to detect the toxoprotein produced by the MRSA. Furthermore, the monoclonal antibody is preferably specific for leukocidin F which is the toxoprotein produced by the MRSA or is preferably produced by a hybridoma (FERM BP-6669) prepared by cell fusion of an animal cell immunized with the leukocidin F to a cell of a myeloma of the animal, preferably has the ability to specifically bind to the leukocidin F and is preferably labeled with an enzyme, a radioisotope, a fluorescent coloring matter, biotin, etc.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
