PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new monoclonal antibody that specifically recognizes a Vpr protein and its related peptides in high affinity and a cell for producing a monoclonal antibody and to provide a method for specifically assaying a Vpr protein and its related peptides in high sensitivity by using the monoclonal antibody. PSOLUTION: A mouse is immunized against a peptide as an antigen having a domain containing 16 amino acid residues at the N-terminal side of a Vpr protein and an amino acid sequence substantially equal to a sequence of 14 amino acid residues at the C-terminal side to give a monoclonal antibody having specificity and high affinity to the N terminal or the C-terminal of a Vpr protein. An immunoassay is carried out by using the monoclonal antibody to specifically assay and detect a Vpr and its related substances in high sensitivity. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
