PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration device for food materials, etc., which is capable of cooling and preserving the food materials housed in saucers, is compact and allows the simple increase of facilities. ;SOLUTION: The refrigeration unit 10 comprises a sandwich table 12 arranged on a lower side and the refrigeration device 14 arranged on an upper side. The refrigeration device 14 is housed with a plurality of second saucers 36 in a cooling compartment delineated within a thermally insulating box 32 which opens upward. The depth of the cooling compartment in which the second saucers 36 are housed is set at the dimensions at which the second saucers 36 can be housed therein without protruding from the thermally insulating box 32. The bottom of the inner box of the thermally insulating box 32 inclines downward from the rear side toward the front side and the second saucers 36 placed via drainboards on the inside surface of the bottom are so constituted that their top surfaces incline downward toward the front side. The cooler led out of the refrigeration unit disposed in one side part of the thermally insulating box 32 is so disposed as to come into tight contact with the outside surface facing the thermally insulating material side of the inner box.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
