PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure high temperature steam sterilizer wherein a temperature distribution in a chamber is made uniform to eliminate the presence of a local high temperature section at the time of a cooling-drying process, and further increase the safety. ;SOLUTION: This high pressure high temperature steam sterilizer 10 is equipped with a chamber 11 which houses an instrument 13, and a heater 15 which heats liquid injected in the chamber 11 to sterilize the instrument 13 with the generated high pressure high temperature steam. Further, an air pump 50 to feed air to the chamber 11 of the sterilizer 10, which is arranged in the outside of the sterilizer 10, and a rotor blade 16, which is arranged in the high pressure high temperature steam sterilizer are provided. In a drying process, the air pump 50 is driven, and the rotor blade 16 is rotated by the air fed by the air pump 50 to cool the inside of the chamber uniformly.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
