PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an in-circuit emulator to correctly monitor the system state at an interruption point of time when a system reset signal is generated in break operation mode and adapt itself to the current state of a target system by reflecting the system reset signal on a CPU for emulation at the time of an emulation recovery. ;SOLUTION: The in-circuit emulator is equipped with a system monitor control part 11, the CPU 10 for emulation, a system reset signal holding circuit 13, and a reset signal control circuit 12.
